Reviews

Everyone who goes on a Headwater holiday will be emailed a link to our post-holiday questionnaire where they can give us an honest assessment of all aspects of their holiday - everything from how quickly we answer the phone to how clean the hotels were - plus an overall rating and comments about their holiday.

Any feedback collected is posted to our website, so that people can make an informed decision based on past experiences before heading off on holiday. We don’t edit the reviews, the only thing we do is proofread them and alter any typos, where necessary, to ensure they are easy to read for everyone. All reviews will be published (except in certain extreme circumstances), and a member of the Headwater team will respond to any constructive criticisms/comments under the reviews, at their discretion. So, for the real tales, twists and turns of our holidays, look no further than the reviews from our previous travellers.

Mr HAINES, 19/07/2021

We negotiated a walking and cycling itinerary in the Cotswolds from 2nd to 13th July which was excellent. We walked 50 miles and cycled 60 which was a good effort from two 69 year old! All the arrangements worked well, accommodation was well chosen as always, the bikes were excellent. We found the laminated cycle maps and instructions very helpful, and on the walks we only got lost once! We tried to use the apps as well, dropped my phone and smashed the glass! OS Maps suit us better!

Many thanks again to Headwater and Hikes and Bikes for providing us with another memorable holiday. We hope to book again in our 70th year but may succumb to an ease for the hills!

Mrs FRAME, 29/06/2021

This was a well organised trip with easy to follow directions .

THORP, 28/06/2021

An excellent holiday, well organized and good travel directions. The hotel accommodation was excellent apart from The White Hart at Winchcombe which left a lot to be desired. The facilities were poor, the decor was tired and the establishment had a general unkept feel.

Headwater response:
Thank you for sharing your experience on our Cotswold holiday. We are really pleased to learn that you had an excellent time. Feedback is incredibly important to us and our Programme Manager and locally appointed agent has been made aware of your comments regarding The White Hart Inn, this enables us to make improvements in the future, we are truly sorry for any disappointment caused with this property.

Mrs BROWNING, 22/06/2021

The holiday was great due mainly to excellent weather. The accommodation was very mixed. The hire of ebike was very expensive.
