We're happy to say that we have absorbed the costs of the additional cover, so there is no premium to pay and the price of your policy will stay the same. Our Travel insurance with COVID cover applies to both single trip and multi-trip annual policies, so you can travel with peace of mind. Simply select the most appropriate insurance for your trip at the time of booking for immediate cover. At Headwater we believe that your safety and enjoyment when travelling overseas with us is very important. Therefore travel insurance is a must whenever you travel abroad. We have arranged travel insurance with specialist Insurance Brokers Campbell Irvine. The cover includes a 24-Hour Worldwide Medical Emergency Service, who are experts in providing friendly and professional help.
Please note that if you chose not to take our recommended insurance then we require confirmation that you have an alternative policy that provides cover, which is as wide as the specialist cover we recommend. You will be asked to provide us with the name of your alternative insurer, your policy number together with the 24 hour medical emergency assistance contact number if you chose not to take out our recommended insurance. The above premiums include Government imposed Insurance Premium Tax. Currently at 20% and are only applicable to European residents. All premiums shown are valid for policies issued up to 30/04/2021.
Age 66 years or more: For persons aged 66-69 years at the time of arranging insurance double the standard rates apply for single trips. For persons aged 70-74 years the rates are 3.5 x the standard rates. For persons aged 75 years old or more at date of payment of insurance premium please contact Headwater for a quotation. Maximum age 65 years on Annual Multi Trip Policies.

Please note: Cancellation cover starts from the time you pay your premium, which is why we strongly recommend you arrange insurance at the same time as you make your booking.
This is only a summary of cover, full details of the cover provided are shown on your policy document which will be sent to you once the appropriate premium has been paid. When you receive your Policy Document and Policy Summary detailing our regulated status, please read it carefully to ensure that you are happy with the cover provided, as this insurance is being sold to you on a Non Advised basis from a single insurer. The Policy Document also contains details of our 21-day money back cooling off period and full details of how to make a claim. The Policy includes certain terms conditions, exclusions and excesses. In particular cover is excluded for any defined pre-existing medical condition from which you or any person upon whom travel depends are suffering.
