Established in 951 AD by Bishop Godescalc, the Le Puy Way (or 'Via Podiensis') is France's oldest Santiago route. The whole route Links Le Puy-en-Velay to the Pyrenees, it flourished in the Middle Ages, was revived as the GR65 in the 1970s, and is now UNESCO-listed.
Our route begins at Le Puy-en-Velay and take you through to Cahors. It is France's most popular Camino - yet still quiet by Camino levels - is renowned for its dramatic scenery, picture postcard villages and medieval heritage.
