TRIP DESCRIPTION

The vineyards around Chablis, are delight for lovers of both culture and wine; they are home to some of France's finest appellations.

On foot or by bike, explore the famous vineyards that produce dry white wine, Chablis is a fine example of a medieval Burgundian village. As admired for its hilly landscapes as for its Burgundy wines, Chablis now has an international reputation for its excellent quality white wines: outstanding finesse, minerality and purity.

We have selected for you a 3* boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of Chablis. Fine wines pairs with fine cuisine. During this tour, your taste buds are invited to taste the traditional beef bourguignon, a wine-based dish bien sur, to dishes that are 'en meurette,' meaning cooked with lardons and red wine. Such dishes include œufs au vin (eggs), coq au vin and jambon persille (parsleyed ham). All regional dishes are either prepared and/or enjoyed with wine.

Very good.
Friendly and happy to answer questions

30 Nov 2024

Made an online enquiry for xc skiing at Venabu and immediately received an email from James to say he would be looking after my booking. I emailed him to clarify a couple of things. Next day I got a quote from Andrew who had not seen my email so we were at cross purposes. I had also made a mistake with the date in the online booking. However he was very efficient, corrected the date and rang the hotel on my behalf to sort out a couple of queries I had. I was very satisfied with the way he did all of this and booked the holiday. I'm not sure where James comes into the equation.
