TERRAIN
Sigiriya Rock - The main climb involves around 1,200 steps, some sections are narrow or steep, while others are wide and gentle. There are railings along most parts. It is the same route down as it is up.
Horton Plains National Park - This is an optional walk on Day 7. The trail is suitable for most active travellers, with gentle terrain, some uneven sections, and a few short climbs. There is a viewpoint that is on a cliff with a near-vertical 880m drop; as such, it may not be appropriate for anyone with a fear of heights.
Arrive into Colombo Airport where you will be met by your guide who will transfer you to Negombo (approximately 20 minute drive). After check in at the hotel, you have the rest of the day to relax.

This sacred site has been a Buddhist pilgrimage destination for over 2,000 years and at the entrance, standing around 30 metres tall, is the striking Golden Buddha. The five main caves, carved into a granite outcrop, house more than 150 statues of the Buddha, along with kings and deities.
