Eurostar

Eurostar to France

Eurostar from the UK and TGV in France operate high-speed passenger trains all over Europe with connections to other national and local rail companies.

Choose your departure point in the UK - from Ebbsfleet International, Ashford International or St Pancras International and go straight into Lille or on into the centre of Paris. A journey lasting just two and a quarter hours!

European rail

Europe by Rail

Travelling by rail needn't stop at Paris. The TGV, a high-speed train network through France that reaches speeds of up to 350km per hour, can take you from Paris all the way down to the south of France in a matter of hours. You could board the Eurostar at St Pancras in the morning, then step off the TGV in Avignon later in the afternoon (journey time is less than 6 hours)!

Other European countries also offer high-speed rail services making many of our destinations accessible without the need to fly. See the map below.

Europcar

Car hire

You also have the option of picking up a hire car for the duration of your holiday. For certain holidays, we recommend hiring a car for your entire stay.

Our preferred car hire supplier is Europcar. Cars with unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver and theft protection (excesses payable according to country & size of vehicle) are available. If you wish to drop your car off at a different place to where you picked it up, we can usually arrange this for you, often at no additional cost. You can also use their pre-registration service to reduce the time it takes to pick-up your car.
