This holiday introduces you to the very soul of Eastern South Africa, and provides an extraordinary insight into the region's natural beauty, cultural contrasts and colourful historic past.
During your 2-week stay with us, you'll hike in the stunning Drakensberg Mountains and spend time exploring the Royal Natal National Park (a UNESCO heritage site). You'll visit traditional Zulu villages - seemingly unchanged for centuries - and witness history being brought back to life at the C19 battlefields between Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift. After tracing Churchill's footsteps on Spion Kop, it's off to the white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean where your tour ends with a private game safari. You are accompanied throughout by our expert local hiking guide, however we've also included (where appropriate) the services of professional battlefield guides/ safari rangers, to ensure that you really get the most out of your time here.
The places you stay in are among the best available, and range from friendly mountain lodges to traditional country houses, to a luxury ensuite tented game reserve full of giraffe, rhino and zebra. Private swimming pools are guaranteed everywhere, and the cuisine is first class.

We're probably a little biased, so here's what our customers say...
