During your 2-week stay with us, you’ll hike in the stunning Drakensberg Mountains and spend time exploring the Royal Natal National Park (a UNESCO heritage site). You’ll visit traditional Zulu villages – seemingly unchanged for centuries – and witness history being brought back to life at the C19 battlefields between Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. After tracing Churchill’s footsteps on Spion Kop, it’s off to the white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean where your tour ends with a private game safari. You are accompanied throughout by expert local hiking guide, David Sclanders, however we’ve also included (where appropriate) the services of professional battlefield guides/ safari rangers, to ensure that you really get the most out of your time here.
