TRIP DESCRIPTION

As admired for its hilly landscapes as for its Burgundy wines, Chablis now has an international reputation for its excellent quality white wines: outstanding finesse, minerality and purity. The vineyards around Chablis, are delight for lovers of both culture and wine; they are home to some of France's finest appellations, and feature some of its most beautiful castles.

Surrounded by the famous vineyards that produce dry white wine, Chablis is a fine example of a medieval Burgundian village. Grown across a relatively small area of about 20 kilometers from north to south and around 15 from east to west, Chablis wines offer a wide range of expression through the Petit Chablis and Chablis appellations and the different Climats of the Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru AOCs.

You will stay in a 3* boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of Chablis. In a region known for its epicurean finesse, you will enjoy fine dining. At the hotel's Bistrot, you will be able to taste Burgundy's excellent local dishes such as Oeufs en Meurette, Poulet de Bresse a la Creme, Perche aux Noix and of course exquisite cheeses like the pungent Epoisses de Bourgogne, to pair with the region's incredible Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines.

James Woods, 26 Oct 2023

Travel companies show their real worth when things go wrong. The weather in Greece royally scuppered our holiday plans but Paula and Katie at Headwater were all over it and within 24 hours we had a new holiday. Excellent communication throughout and a fabulous outcome. Many thanks.

Jaclyn Wood, 13 Sep 2023

Good to work with people that are solution orientated and despite some false starts we managed to get exactly what we wanted
