Our offices are located in the heart of Cheshire, around 20 miles south west of Manchester. We are easily reached by road from the M56 or M6 and have a mainline railway station nearby. Personal callers are welcome but please do let us know in advance so that we can check that the appropriate person will be available to deal with your enquiry. Driving directions are given below and you may also find this locator map useful.

Special note for SatNav users

If you are using a SatNav system which uses a postcode to locate us you will be directed to the middle of a housing estate a few miles down the road! To avoid this, please enter CW8 1JH for directions to the top of Chester Road and, once here, look out for a small side road with 'Headwater' signs close to a pedestrian crossing.

Driving from M6 J19:

• From J19 (Knutsford & Altrincham turn-off) follow the A556 towards Knutsford, Chester & North Wales.
• After approx 1 mile you will come to a set of traffic lights, continue straight on along the A556.
• After approx 2 miles you will pass through another set of traffic lights (the Smoker pub is on your left).
• Shorty after this you will see a signpost for the A559 to Northwich heading off to your right - bear right onto the A559.
• Follow the A559 into Northwich, you will pass through a set of traffic lights (with car dealers on your right) .
• After passing B&Q and a Ford dealership you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit (straight on) onto a dual carriageway.
• Follow this road down the hill and get into the right hand lane as you approach the traffic lights. Go straight on here, and through the next 3 sets of lights.
• You will cross a swing bridge and come to a mini-roundabout. Take the first exit and go up Chester Road - get in the right hand lane as you go up the hill so that you can go straight on at the traffic lights.
• When you get to the top of Chester Road you will pass through a pedestrian crossing.
• Headwater is about 200m further along on your right, immediately after the next pedestrian crossing - look out for the 'Headwater' sign on the small side road.
• Continue straight along to the Headwater office at the end of the road - limited parking is available.

Driving from M56 J10:

• From the Stretton roundabout (Warrington turn-off), follow the A49 towards Northwich.
• After approx 5 miles you will come to a crossroads with the A533 with a petrol station and Little Chef on your right.
• Turn left onto the A533 towards Northwich and continue along this road through the village of Barnton.
• As you leave Barnton you will go down a hill towards a set of traffic lights, turn right here over the single-track bridge.
• Continue along this road through the next set of traffic lights and up a hill to another set of traffic lights. Turn right onto Moss Road.
• At the end of Moss Road turn left at the traffic lights and travel under the railway arch.
• Headwater are 20m along on your left, immediately before the pedestrian crossing - look out for the 'Headwater' sign on the small side road.
• Continue straight along to the Headwater office at the end of the road - limited parking is available.

Nearest train stations:

If travelling from London, the easiest route is Euston to Crewe. A taxi from here will take around 40 mins, or you may be able to connect with local services to Hartford station (then 10 mins by taxi). If travelling via Manchester, catch the local service to Greenbank station (then 5 mins by taxi).
