The spectacular diversity of flora andfauna is breathtaking: pineapples, mangoes, coconuts, guava, cashewsand breadfruit are everywhere, while scarlet heliconia, ginger lilies and purplewax flowers contrast with the greens of the jungle. Tropical mockingbirdsand Green Throated Carib share the islands with endangeredJacquot and Sisserou parrots - the national birds of each island.
