Highlights There are few better places to explore by bike than Provence: ancient villages, sleepy squares, olive groves, vineyards and fields of lavender stretching as far as the eye can see. All hotels have private pools.

This holiday is a 2 bike holiday.
We feel it is the mid-upper end of a 2-bike (a couple of challenging climbs!)
This relaxed cycling holiday follows a triangular route which explores the heart of ‘Secret’ Provence. The area is almost wholly unspoilt, combining rural tranquillity with beautiful landscapes. You will see ancient villages perched on hillsides, châteaux, lovely churches and prehistoric sites.
The region lies between the Mediterranean coast and the Maritime Alps, so it’s not too hot even in high summer as the heat is moderated by breezes from the sea.
Anyone who likes France, good food and sunshine will love this holiday!
Any other Provence holiday or any other French holiday.
Non standard departures are not really possible, as this region is a repped region. If arriving on a bag run day then arrivals wouldn't tie in with the holiday.
Extra nights at the beginning or the end of the holiday are possible. Extra nights can also be taken in the middle of the tour providing it is for a minimum of 2 nights.
This holiday may also be adapted to a 4 night version which allows cycling every day.
General attributes to this holiday are characterful hotels, all hotels offer private outdoor swimming pools, great food, full of historic, cultural & romantic interest. More than 300 days of sunshine a year.
We're probably a little biased, so here's what our customers say...
"Good organisation, good pleasant, knowledgeable reps, good accommodation and food."
Mrs Thompson, Dorchester
"The overall organisation is excellent, as are the cycling locations and hotels - this was our seventh holiday with Headwater."
Mr G Roberts, Potters Bar
