The picturesque village of Tourtour makes for an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful corner of Provence. It’s a region full of romantic, historic and cultural interest: perched villages, prehistoric sites, poppy fields, olive groves, vineyards and wonderful views out towards the Mediterranean Sea.

Auberge St Pierre

Formerly a 16th century coaching inn, the Auberge St Pierre is a beautifully converted 16-bedroom hotel set in a wonderfully green 90-hectare estate and offering a wide range of amenities: swimming pool (13m x 7m), tennis, sauna, walks and fresh water fishing. There is a lovely beamed dining room (closed Wed – we arrange for you to eat at a nearby restaurant and provide transport), with open terrace for al fresco meals in the summer.

How to get there

A car is essential for guests choosing this hotel. You can either take your own across the Channel or, if fly-drive via Marseilles, hiring a car at the airport. We can tailor-make any holiday to suit, however to really explore this region fully, we recommend a minimum of 3 nights.
