ABOUT HEADWATER

The first Headwater guests travelled with us in 1985 when we were just three people running the operation from the kitchen table! Now, as we celebrate our 21st birthday, we have a team of thirty people in our Cheshire offices, and many more overseas.

Catherine Crone is our Managing Director and has been with the company since 1989. A passionate Francophile, who has also lived in Spain and Italy, she strongly recommends cycling in Provence and Catalunya, or Walking in the French Caribbean. Tina James has overall responsiblity for the Headwater overseas operation. Having spent a couple of summers working as a rep out in Burgundy in the early 1990's, Tina is completely in tune with what our customers expect from us overseas. She is committed to the constant re-shaping of holidays in order that we deliver consistently high standards. Personal favourites include Slovenia, Corsica and the Eastern Med. Steven Murray and Helen Barker spent much of last year researching new products and, between them, developed new holidays in Chianti, Sicily, the Aeolian Islands, Mallorca, Cyprus, Samos, Turkey, Kenya, South Africa, Ecuador and the Galapagos.

Kerry Briers and her team look after all holiday bookings. We believe, and customers tell us, that they are the most dedicated sales people in the industry. They have the best technology available, and give excellent, personal, friendly service. From the moment you book your holiday with us, you are given the direct phone number to the person looking after your holiday booking. No waiting around in telephone 'queues' and no having to push numerous buttons to get to the right department.
