    Cycle from chateau to chateau along scenic routes that wind through vineyards, the majestic forests of Chambord, and the banks of the Loire River.  Stroll through the beautifully maintained gardens of Chaumont-sur-Loire and Cheverny. Pedal at your own pace, pausing whenever you wish to enjoy a glass of local wine at one of the many charming restaurants or cafe terraces along the way.
    
 Please note: Cycling helmets are a legal requirement in France for children under 12. Riders of all bicycles and e-bikes must wear a high-visibility vest when cycling outside built-up areas at night or in conditions of poor visibility.  
  
This gentle and unhurried cycling holiday follows 'Pays des Chateaux' cycling path through the heart of the great Loire Valley between forest and quiet countryside routes. Mostly on tarmac roads and sign posted cycling paths.

    Along the way, you will glimpse elegant private châteaux peeking through the trees or nestled behind vineyards and groves. Don’t miss the chance to stop at a local wine estate for a tasting, home to crisp whites and expressive reds that reflect the land you’re riding through. 
    Tonight, enjoy a dinner at the Michelin star restaurant for a culinary experience where local flavours are thoughtfully crafted into refined, seasonal dishes.
Today follows the scenic “Pays des Châteaux” cycling paths, peaceful, well-marked routes that guide you through the heart of Loire Valley heritage. Your first stop is the charming Château de Villesavin, a hidden gem with a rich history and serene atmosphere. 
    Continue your journey through beautiful countryside until you arrive at the magnificent Château de Chambord. With its grand Renaissance architecture and soaring towers a visit here is truly unforgettable. Take time to explore the château’s 440 rooms, vast grounds, and panoramic rooftop views, a masterpiece built to impress. 
Today’s ride takes you along peaceful country roads, winding through quiet villages before reaching the banks of the majestic Loire River. Your destination is the beautiful Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, perched on a hillside with sweeping views of the river below. 
    Take time to explore this elegant château, strolling through its grand rooms and tranquil terraces. But the true highlight is found in the château’s expansive grounds where the renowned International Garden Festival is held. Each year, landscape artists and designers from around the world transform the gardens into living works of art, all centered around a shared theme.
