Thought I would drop you a line to say how fabulous our cycling holiday in ' Secret Provence' was!

We have been on 2 other Headwater holidays too but I think this was the best. The cycling / locations were really lovely and much quieter than I thought they might be in Provence in July.

The cycling was paced just right, manageable but with extra challenges if you wanted. My husband became an excellent sherpa and we cycled on all our 'rest' days, totalling about 300k, such an achievement, after 35 years of marriage he still continues to surprise!

The holiday was brilliant value; the hotels were really lovely and all the people who ran them very friendly and efficient. They were not hotels that we would think of booking ourselves, as they would normally appear too expensive, let alone eating in their restaurants.

Not only were the hotels lovely but also our allocated rooms were top class. Particularly the room with a balcony and view over the spectacular turquoise lake of St Croix - it was like being back in the Greek islands. The restaurant on the terrace must have one of the best views in he world (and I have been working on cruise ships for the last 3 years and been all over the world). The hotel in St Pierre was beautifully located, very quiet and lovely pool too. The food was brilliant and the staff lived ' la politesse'

Ludmilla and Tony were very efficient and friendly and a great couple to be organising the trip. You could tell they really were passionate about the whole ethos of the cycling holidays and are very good ambassadors for Headwater.

I am really pleased to see that the quality of service and standard of the holidays has not been affected by the takeover from TUI - I hope you are all left alone to continue to provide such special holidays, I have highly recommended you to many friends and family, who I know are now followers of Headwater.
