Walking in Switzerland

For such a small country, Switzerland has so much to offer - from dramatic peaks and glacial valleys to warm friendly people and postcard-pretty mountain villages. Our holidays in Switzerland offer you the lion's share of the country's classic alpine scenery, with many of the highest peaks, deepest valleys, most extensive glaciers, tallest waterfalls and largest mountain lakes. You'll hear church bells chime down the valleys and see fountains of flowers gracing village window boxes.

The long summer days are perfect for high mountain walking, and late September onwards is typically a period of 'Indian summer' with fabulous red and golden hues and crystal clear air.
