The 3-star Hotel Astoria Garden has a most unusual feature: an internal garden complete with banana and orange trees! Centrally located near the main railway station, but in a quiet residential street, this is a really good base from which to explore. There are 34 rooms, all air-conditioned and recently refurbished. They have telephone, television, and ensuite bathrooms.

Hotel Chiusarelli is located just beyond Siena’s mediaeval walls and a ten-minute walk away from town’s main square, Il Campo. Its position on the edge of the historical centre is perfect as the hotel is spacious and quiet but still within walking distance of all the sights and restaurants. There is even a small garden to the front with palm trees and a quiet (except on Sunday afternoons when you will have a grandstand view of AC Siena’s matches!) veranda to the rear of the hotel.
The en-suite rooms have recently been renovated and are quite simple but comfortable.

This 3-star hotel is beautifully decorated, with rooms in individual styles - some are traditionally Tuscan whilst others are funky and modern. Parts of the the building actually date back to the 18th century, and the reception and public rooms are designed with this in mind, with Persian rugs, stained glass windows and wrought iron doors in evidence.
Although just off the main Via Nazionale, only 2 minutes’ walk from the central station and 5 minutes from the Duomo, the hotel faces an internal courtyard for peace and quiet. All the rooms are double glazed, and all have air-conditioning so there is absolutely no reason not to have a good night’s sleep!
There is no restaurant at the hotel, but there is plenty of choice nearby.

The traditional 3-star Hotel Fortuna is set right in the heart of the historic city. The building itself dates to the 14th century and was tastefully renovated in the early 1990's. There are still some original features - look out for the arched windows downstairs. All rooms are en suite with satellite TV, telephone, minibar and radio. There is a roof garden terrace - great views over the city and a bar/ lounge area.

Il Convento is located just a few minutes’ walk away from the Via Toledo shopping area and ten minutes away from the famous Piazza Plebiscito and Castel dell’Ovo, the hotel is ideally situated for a long weekend break or a short stopover.

The original part of the hotel dates back to the 1200s when it was built elsewhere and then 'moved' about a century later to its present location. It now comprises of 2 buildings, with the 29 en suite rooms divided between the two. Breakfast is taken in the buffet breakfast room in the reception building, where there is also a small bar.

Situated in the very heart of the picturesque town of Positano, just a stone’s throw from the beach, the Palazzo Murat is a restored 18C palazzo which has been tastefully restored and furnished to reflect its original baroque architecture.
The hotel gets its name from Napoleon’s brother in law, Gioacchino Murat, who became the King of Naples in 1808 and who used the palazzo as his summer residence.
All rooms are ensuite. The hotel also offers a laundry service.
Breakfast here is a treat! Served in the hotel’s private garden, a sumptuous buffet includes homemade pasticcerie. There is also a cocktail bar in the hotel’s courtyard which opens in time for evening aperitivi.

The 34 rooms are very comfortable and a good size. The hotel’s best feature is its superb roof garden with views over the rooftops of the old city, which also benefits from a Jacuzzi!

Your hosts and chefs are Roberta and Ercole Lega. They only use organic ingredients in their tasty cuisine - including herbs straight for the hotel gardens. They vary the menu to reflect the seasons - if you’re there are the end of the summer, Ercole will be out in the woods at dawn collecting wild mushrooms for dinner that night!
The hotel has six rooms which are comfortable, quiet and traditionally decorated. There is also a small swimming pool, jacuzzi, sun terrace and sauna.

The Relais Villa Acquaviva is a haven of relaxation nestled within acres of vineyards and olive groves in the shadow of the lovely village of Montemerano.
Valentina and Serafino the owners have spent the past twenty years renovating the Villa and today it is an immaculate hotel. The Villa’s bedrooms are located within two buildings, one known as the “hotel” and the other as the “agriturismo”.
All rooms are ensuite and individually decorated in a traditional Tuscan style, with slate floors and wrought iron furniture.
