Typical itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive in Kandersteg

Your hoteliers meet you at Kandersteg station and take you to your hotel (5 mins) in time for dinner.

Days 2-7 - Typical itinerary

We have included 3 morning lessons with the village ski school and you'll start to explore some of the easy trails that lead in and out of the pine and beech forests that surround the village. The crisp, fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery are overwhelming.

After your lessons you can explore further. We have included 2 cable car passes giving you the opportunity to go up to the spectacular Sunnbuel (1900m) where you will find easy skiing on a magnificent open, flat sunny plateau with Kandersteg's highest peaks, the Balmhorn (3777m) and the Altels (3629m) dominating the views, or if you're feeling adventurous you can ski to the famous high Gemmi Pass (2314m) for an extraordinary panorama. The Matterhorn, Wildstrubel, Dents du Midi and even Mont Blanc are clearly visible. Then go by cable car over to the isolated spa town of Leukerbad and back to Kandersteg for a traditional folklore evening.

Day 8 - Return home

Leave Kandersteg after breakfast.
