Hotel de Diane, Sables d'Or-Les-Pins

This lovely little hotel is located 100 metres from the large beach of Sables d'Or. The hotel is traditional in style and dates back to the 1920s, although it has had extensions and modernisations to the rooms since this time!

Rooms are located in 2 buildings; the first building has far more traditional feel to it in terms of decor, compared to the new rooms, which are modern in style. All rooms are well decorated and some rooms have balconies.

Hotel Printania, Dinard

With its superb location a short 50m stroll from Dinard's main beach and situated right on the sea front looking out towards St Malo, the views from the Hotel Pritania are fantastic! The hotel seems more like a museum in style: its quintessionally Breton public rooms - including a sitting room with piano which guests are welcome to play! - all feature the carved wooded furniture typical to the area, as well as paintings by local artists and Henriot Quimper porcelain.

All 55 rooms are ensuite and all are individually decorated with characteristic Breton detail. Sea view rooms are available on request at the time of booking.

Please note that the triple rooms at this hotel only have a double bed and a single bed; 3 bedded rooms are not available.

Hotel D'Avaugour, Dinan

We are delighted to have found this lovely hotel right in the heart of mediaeval Dinan. All the rooms are ensuite and individually decorated with stylish soft furnishings.

The hotel has a small bar and a beautiful garden where you can have breakfast or enjoy a pre-dinner drink. Walk to the end of the garden and you find yourself on the ramparts of the town.

Les Trois Mousquetaires, Aire-sur-la-Lys

The Hostellerie Les Trois Mousquetaires is just over a 30 minute from the Eurotunnel terminal and port at Calais as well as the port of Dunkerque. Named after the three musketeers, its appearance and setting are just as romantic as its name. The hotel is a 19C chateau, which was built on the foundations of a Vauban fortress.

Lovingly converted into a hotel, its 31 rooms and 2 suites are decorated in period furniture throughout with chandeliers and even four-poster beds in some. The chateau is full of cosy corners; intimate lounges with open fires, and a comfortable bar where you can linger over an aperitif before dinner.

The chateau's restaurant is a gastronome's delight and a stay here can be no better introduction to the culinary pleasures, which will no doubt await you as you travel through France. The chateau is surrounded by over 3 hectares of parkland in which you can walk off that dinner, and also has its own golf course, gymnasium and boules pitch.

Nearby is the historical town Aire-sur-La-Lys. Not be missed is its Renaissance Baillage or barracks which was once under the command of d'Artagnan himself. Good for children is the Nausicaa sea centre at Boulogne - an exciting futuristic aquarium.
