Here you are staying in the heart of the wild volcano landscape of the Velay, in a hotel run by outdoor enthusiasts, exclusively for outdoor enthusiasts!

The modern Scandinavian-style building has a lovely situation overlooking the village, the valley and the mountains beyond. Mont Mézenc is just behind the hotel.

There are lots of cosy sitting areas in the public rooms, many with French windows affording breathtaking views over the surrounding valley. Overall the feeling of the hotel is of a very bright and airy building with almost 360 degree views of glorious countryside.

All 21 bedrooms overlook the valley, are en suite with a shower, and direct dial telephone. They all have twin beds, which can be pushed together.

There’s a sitting room and a TV room, as well as a pool table and a table tennis table. Downstairs is the indoor heated swimming pool, housed in a conservatory setting with easy chairs and hammocks looking out on the panoramic views.
