This is a guided, lower one boot level, multi centre walking holiday.
This holiday includes some gentle strolls along coastal paths and forest trails. The descent to Pergamon (day 6) may be considered challenging if prone to vertigo or for those with weaker knees. Walking boots are recommended.
This tour is linear – starting in Istanbul in the North and ending in Bodrum on the South West coast.
This holiday will appeal to:
Culture vultures – it is rare to find an itinerary that packs in so many famous archaeological sites.
Sea lovers – the majority of the tour is along the coast so there are lots of opportunities to see the sea and enjoy harbour side dinners
Bird lovers – as well as flamingos there is also a range of birds that can be seen during this holiday. Turkey is on the migratory route for birds.
This holiday is similar to our Highlights of Tuscany and Classical Spain holidays.
We are unable to offer non-standard departures on this holiday. If you are interested in extra excursions, we recommend extra nights at the start or end of the holiday, as this is a full itinerary.
Continental breakfast, 3 lunches and 5 evening meals
We're probably a little biased, so here's what our customers say...
