General information:
This holiday is a two boot walk and mainly follows mountain paths, forest trails and vehicle tracks, sometimes at altitude. In order to zig zag across the river Soca, suspension bridges are used frequently. Walkers need to be confident and used to uneven terrain. Walking boots are essential and you may find walking poles useful.

Location:
This walking holiday starts in Kranjska Gora and ends in Bohinj.

This independent walking holiday explores the Triglav National Park encompassing Slovenia's highest peak (Mt Triglav 2864m) and the Julian Alps. We'll discover jagged limestone peaks, high flower-filled meadows, thundering waterfalls and half timbered mountain villages. We'll visit the charming village of Kranjska Gora, traverse the mighty Vrsic Pass into the hidden Trenta Valley and follow the course of the Soca River. The walk ends at Slovenia's most beautiful lake: Lake Bohinj.
