General information:
Independent, 2 boot level, multi centre walking holiday.

Samos is a beautiful Greek island, know as the 'Emerald of the Aegean' with some of the best preserved natural forest and secluded bays. The walks are a mixture of ascending and descending, you are mainly walking inland through olive groves, tiny white villages, passing waterfalls, moasteries, byzantine churches and along the coastline. There are plenty of swimming opportunities, panoramic views, good home cooked food, fresh seafood and a chance to taste the famous Samian wine.

Our hotels and walks are located in the South East, North and North East of the island.

This holiday would appeal to anybody who likes the Meditteranean and Greece in particular.

We are able to offer non standard departures for this holiday, however we would need to check the flights as they are mainly charter companies that go on the same days.

Other details:
Some of the walks are on rocky paths and tracks, as well as on rough dirt roads. Walkers should be confident and comparitively fit. Walking boots are essential and walking poles are recommended.
