All the coastal towns and villages on the south coast have pretty harbours with lots of cafes and tavernas along the waterfronts. On the coast there are beautiful beaches, inland around Agiasos there is mature woodland and oak forest, while elsewhere there are acres and acres of olive groves.

Inland there are fantastic walking trails and hidden paths that nobody uses for walking. The walking here encompasses a blend of great beaches, ancient churches, Roman aqueducts and monasteries, and pretty inland villages full of arts and crafts.

Lesbos is Greece's third largest island, which lies just off the Turkish coast in the Aegean Sea.

Drama and scenery are at the heart of the walks through the landscapes of the south-east of Lesbos, and the mixture of small village life, wild valleys, empty beaches, and sea views mean that you will enjoy every aspect of the area’s colour and vibrancy. Spring and Autumn are particularly lovely times to walk here when orchids are scattered below olive trees, and the warm welcome you receive all over the lesser known parts of the island will be one of the lasting memories you will take home with you.
