General information:
This holdiay follows routes mostly along semi-shaded mule tracks. The occasional steep ascent and descent, and as paths can be stony in parts, good protective footwear is essential. The walking is led by ex-pat walking guides who live locally.

Location:
Situated in the heart of southern Andalucian province of Axarquia, and on the edge of the Tejeda National Park, the Hotel Finca el Cerillo is just 30 minutes drive from the coast yet feels a million miles away. The views from the pool and the dining terrace overlook the mountains and you can see lots of little white villages tucked in between.

For Christmas 2008, we are delighted to be offering a festive week starting 20 Dec at Finca el Cerillo. Festivities will include traditional Spanish dinner on Christmas Eve, midnight mass (optional) in the white village of Competa, traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas Day and a treasure hunt to help burn off the calories on Boxing Day!
