This holiday is based in Venabu, Central Norway, on the edge of the Rondane National Park. You'll stay in a lovely, friendly hotel - a firm Headwater favourite!
This is a pefect area for cross country skiing, great for beginners and improvers alike.

The landscape in the area is truly dramatic and full of contrasts, it is far enough north to have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights - especially in December and January - and throughout the winter there are spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
This holiday is suitable for beginners aswell as for those people wishing to improve their techniques.
Beginners are welcome on all weeks, however we have assigned jan 21 and mar 17 departures reserved exclusively for beginners and people who are nervous about trying a snow activity for the first time.
It is also suitable for single travellers and families with young children.
Non-standard departures are not unfortunately possible on this holiday.
Included in this holiday are 7 nights accommodation at the Venabu Fjellhotel, return transfers to Oslo Gardemoen airport and a fully supported cross country skiing programme by resident hotel reps. Ski pass, boots, poles and ski hire are also included.
This hotel is a real skiers hotel and they're totaly geared up by way of: ski storage and waxing facilities, torch lit sleigh rides (pay locally), saunas, marked trails and dog sledding. Lessons with a professional can be arranged locally for anyone wanting to progress at a faster rate than the Headwater-led group.
There is limited alpine skiing available 3km away (1 green run, 1 blue and 1 red) - clients will need to buy pass, hire equipment and take out alpine insurance.
Jan 21 and Mar 17 departures are reserved exclusively for beginners.
