Independent 8 nights cycling hotel to hotel.
1 cycle- gentle cycling. Cycling is nice and flat- great for beginners. Untouched country side, rolling hills and wild flowers including poppies, heather and wild orchids.Plenty of wine tasting opportunites.
Based in the unspoilt Euganean hills, near the mediaval city of Padua. The closet town is Vicenza (40 mins away from base hotel) renowned for it's gold festival.
This holiday is based in the wonderfully unspoilt Euganean and Berici Hills, the lesser-known treasures of the Veneto (and long may they remain so).
The area has long been a draw for Venetians anxious to escape their muggy heat, and you will see many of their sumptuous villas, and the panoramas of the hills are never far away. The area is ideally situated for visiting Vicenza, Padua and Venice.
Mainly couples who like peace and quiet. Great base afterwards for Venice and Verona. Not ideal for children, as not enough for them to do.
Non Standard dates are possible on this holiday
We include continental breakfast and evening meals on this holiday.
If you find yourselves having a longer wait in Venice until your train to Vicenza, we would suggest getting the bus into Venice so you can explore the city and then catch the train from Venice Santa Lucia to Vicenza instead.
We're probably a little biased, so here's what our customers say...
"The organisation was excellent throughout."

"Cycling holidays with Headwater are fun and work well."
