Highlights This 8-night cycling holiday really gets under the skin of Burgundy: its people, its villages, its waterways and, of course, its world-famous wines. The days have been specially designed to allow for lazy riverside lunches and gastronomic pit-stops!

This is a level 1 Cycling holiday.
Exceptionally varied cycling, riverside trails, country lanes and Morvan National Park. You mostly bowl along pleasant little roads following the courses of three rivers (the Yonne, the Serein and the Armancon).
This holiday has it all - the wines, the quaint mediaeval towns, the glories of the Renaissance and the wonderful cuisine. You cycle eastwards from the River Yonne, across the valley of the Serein and on to the River Armancon, which runs alongside the Canal de Bourgogne. Along the way you can explore pretty villages (including the medieval gem of Montréal), three interesting small towns and two superb Renaissance châteaux.
You pedal through quiet, timeless Burgundian countryside on little roads or towpaths by the canal, with lots of choices of route. And, of course, lots of opportunities to sample the local gastronomic delights and the famous wines of Chablis!
Francophiles interested in food, wine and history.
Region shares characteristics with: Dordogne and the Loire
The holiday can be extended by having extra nights in the tour hotels, either at the beginning or end of the cycling holiday, or even in the middle when 2 extra nights are booked in this case.
Continental breakfast and 6 evening meals are included on this 8 night holiday.
The historic town of Auxerre has many interesting bars/restaurants where evening meals can be purchased, it's one of the finest mediaeval towns in France.
We're probably a little biased, so here's what our customers say...
