General information:
This is a 1 bike holiday

Day 6 is at the upper end of the 1 bike, i.e. 20-30kms, and rest of the cycling is easily within 1 bike criteria.

Location:
South of Finistere. Cycling is based west of Quimper.

On this holiday you cycle along traffic-free country lanes and quiet coastal roads with plenty of opportunity to admire the stunning sea views as you go. You pedal along the green river valleys between hedgerows and low stone walls and soon become part of this intimate landscape.

The cycling days are short, allowing you plenty of time to pop into the villages, explore the pretty little fishing ports, picnic on the beach or treat yourself to a tasty galette in one of the region’s renowned crêperies.

On your stay put days you can discover the authentic Renaissance village of Locronon, or the famous Breton town of Quimper, with its charming old quartier. Whatever you choose to do, each of the places you visit oozes charm and you’ll not want to leave!

Who would this holiday appeal to?
Great for families with young children as there is the chance to go to the beach on rest days, and the cycling is very coastal and relaxed. It would also suit people who don’t like hills and people who like the beach but don’t want a lot of touristy attractions.

This holiday wouldn’t suit people looking for a challenging cycle holiday.

Non-standard departures are not available as this is a repped region, but the holiday runs every other day.

If extra nights are required during the holiday, it is recommended to have 2 nights at a time. This will ensure the Headwater reps can transfer luggage on your behalf.
