About Mousterlin
Exploring locally offers a wealth of possibilities. Quimper, a mediaeval city with picturesque half-timbered buildings, colourful bridges decorated with flowers, a fantastic market and lots of shops and cafes is just 25 minutes’ drive away. Or perhaps head out to Concarneau and its spectacular ville close. The ramparts dominate both the fishing harbour and yachting marina. Even closer to the hotel, is the excellent 18-hole golf course at Fouesnant. Alternatively it’s a pleasant walk into Beg-Meil, where you can catch a ferry to the Glenan Isles.
For anyone looking to really get away from it all, the 3-star Hotel de la Pointe de Mousterlin is the perfect location: a lovely quiet spot, right beside the beach. The hotel initially started life as a seaweed storehouse, before it was transformed into a hotel in 1913. Today it is run by M and Mme Bayes and it offers a pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, table tennis and two tennis courts. The excellent Cote Jardin restaurant looks out on to the pool where there is also a lovely terrace for al fresco dining in the summer.
All the rooms at this hotel have telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer and balcony with either a garden or sea view.
