On this long-time favourite holiday, guests will be offered the chance to sample over a dozen fine wines - no limit on the number of glasses/ bottles either! - And then, on the final evening, will be asked to select their 6 favourite bottles to take home with our compliments… The Poitou-Charentes lies between the châteaux and the castles of the Loire Valley and the vineyards of Bordeaux. Perfectly located for our gentle walking holiday is the beautifully preserved Le Moulin du Chemin, this little gem is tucked away just outside the secluded little hamlet of Scillé below a patchwork of yellow fields and green woods. Le Moulin serve distinctive local wines of good quality and character, including rosés, whites and reds from the small family producers of the Anjou Region. Evening meals are accompanied by plenty of good red wine from many well-known wine producing regions. During in your stay you will be treated to:  Les Blancs - mostly served at le Moulin's famous 'aperitifs-at-seven'. Les Rosés - served at lunch time and available to take away with your packed lunch. (You will even receive lightweight stainless steel vacuum flasks to keep your wine cool!) Les Rouges - served with the evening meal (in copious quantities if you wish!).
