FOOD & WINE IN SARDINIA

Roasted meat is plentiful, like su polceddu a carraxiu (roasted pork with herbs). By the sea, fresh fish abounds. A favourite is spaghetti alla bottaga, pasta with grated fish roe. Everywhere you’ll find the wafer-thin shepherd’s bread, once carried in their satchels. It’s great dipped in ricotta cheese!
