Full guided skiing holidays

On a Headwater fully guided holiday you will have the benefit of an experienced tour leader throughout the week. They will be there to meet you at the airport and ensure you have a comfortable transfer to the hotel.

You will have a typical weeks' itinerary to follow, however your tour leader will always adapt the week to suit the needs of yourselves and the other people in the group, increasing or decreasing distances and difficulty appropriately, and taking into account current weather conditions.

You will be able to concentrate on technique and style without worrying about reading maps or getting lost. You will be skiing with an intimate group of fellow customers who will on the whole be in a similar position to you - either complete beginners, or returning guests looking to progress further.

Semi-guided skiing holidays

Headwater's range of semi-guided holidays include some private morning lessons to get you started, then lots of free time for independent exploring. So you decide how much, or little, skiing you want ot do, confident in the knowledge that there's a qualified guided on hand to help develop your technique and give specific quidance on which trails are best suited to your level. The ski schools that we choose for the lessons are all well respected in the area and the patience of their English-speaking instructors ensures that you quickly improve your confidence and skills. People wanting additional lessons can simply arrange any pay for locally as required.

Choosing this holiday format gives you the independence of choosing how much skiing you do, where you ski and at what pace, yet maintaining the professional instruction of a qualified guide who can give you invaluable advice on developing your technique and guidance on which trails are suited to your level.
