WINTER DISCOVERY HOLIDAYS

Our discovery holidays are perfect for those who have not tried a snow activity holiday before, or for cross country skiers wanting a more varied week. These holidays are normally co-ordinated by your hoteliers and their staff (usually experienced skiers/mountain guides) who will accompany you on the different activities. Of course, for more specialised excursions, like dog sledding (really exciting as the dogs don’t wait around!) and snow mobiling, we work with expert instructors who will kit you out with all the necessary clothing and equipment.

How our winter activity holidays work

The idea is that you try your hand at a different winter activity each day, but there is ample free time for you return to one that you liked for another go. And the hotels where we base our winter discovery holidays normally have good facilities like swimming pools and saunas, so there's plenty to do when you return of an evening. As with our cross country skiing holidays, our winter discovery holidays also operate on small group sizes so you'll receive plenty of attention when you need it to pick up basic techniques.
