We are committed to providing you with high-quality, interest-packed holidays at excellent value-for-money prices. Our prices are as 'all-inclusive' as we can make them. This even includes apéritifs, wine and coffee, on some holidays. People tell us that extras don't need to come to much at all - just picnics (where lunch is not included) and drinks and postcards. We add further value by offering extra services that make your holiday more enjoyable, like bag-moving and wine collection right through the season. And, we have excellent discounts for children too.

Tailor made for you!

We offer so much flexibility over transport, extra stays, and combined holidays that every holiday is effectively tailor made. Based just south of Manchester we understand the importance of good regional connections, and there are more options for local departures than we have room for in the brochure. Call us to discuss your individual requirements. Car hire is available, and you can combine your holiday with another one or maybe short stay in one of Europe's cultural cities. We can often fly you into one airport and out of another, and arrange local transfers by air or rail to get you where you want to go. And if you are travelling to celebrate a special occasion, we can offer upgraded travel or superior rooms or suites at many of our hotels to make that special journey even more memorable. Every questionnaire we receive is read by our directors and senior managers to see what ideas we can pick up on to improve our holidays.

As a special "thank you" to our many regular customers, if you've travelled with us 5 or more times during the last 8 years*, a 5% discount will be applied to your booking. (*Past holiday details must be provided to us by you at the time of booking).

We believe (and clients tell us) that our value is unbeatable. If you can find the same holiday at a lower brochure price elsewhere within 30 days of booking we'll refund DOUBLE the difference.

Great children's discounts

Children get big discounts, all season, usually for under 12's sharing a room with two adults. Even if they're not sharing, under 12's will still get discounted air and rail travel. All under-16's get half price insurance, and under-2's are insured free (with some restrictions on cover). Very young children (under 2 on air and rail holidays and under 4 self-drive), pay just £49, irrespective of holiday length. This includes accommodation providing you take your own cot and pay the hotel for any meals.

Good for singles too

Some holidays have no single supplements (check the price panels). Our small group guided holidays tend to have a special appeal to people travelling alone.

Listening to the customer

Deciding on new holidays is easy at Headwater! We just do more of the sort of holidays you've told us you enjoyed, and improve or drop the ones that aren't so popular. The whole operation is really driven by customer comments. Bike mapholders, gel saddles, specially adapted waterbottles, more upmarket hotels, holiday itineraries on the internet - all these originated in comments and questionnaires. The bag-moving service isn't just about moving your luggage either - it keeps us in daily touch with clients and hotels, so we can make sure everything's up to scratch.
